 Hello friends welcome to "ZAYKA CHEF RECIPE". Today lets see how to make Black Forest Cake. First lets add all the dry ingredients 2 cup All purpose flour / Maida 3/4 cup Cocoa powder 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt Sift well.

 Now lets add Sugar and wet ingredients 2 cup Sugar 1 cup Milk 1/2 cup Oil. We can also use melted butter instead of Oil. Next I am going to add 3 eggs, if you are vegetarian use 1 cup curd instead of eggs.  Finally add 2 tsp Vanilla extract and combine well.

We can also use electric beater to mix. Now lets transfer this to baking pans (two - 9 inch pans) Greased and lined with butter paper Bake it at 350 F for 30 - 35 min. While the cake is getting ready lets make cherry syrup. If you couldn't find cherry syrup , boil sugar in water and let cool - simple sugar syrup syrup helps to keep the cake soft and juicy Save 1/2 cup syrup for later. Transfer cherry and syrup into a sauce pan add 1/4 cup of sugar to it and cook until thickens. Once it thickens turn off the heat and let cool completely.

 Our cakes are out of the oven exactly after 30 minutes let everything cool completely Divide the cake into half (4 portions total). Now lets make cream.

 I have taken 3 cups of heavy whipping cream. Also add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar beat it nicely until stiff peaks Do not beat it longer, cream turns into butter.

 Now our cake , cherry syrup and cream is ready , lets assemble our cake. wet with some cherry syrup spread a layer of cream some cherry on top , similarly do with the rest. Spread cream evenly all around the cake Add some chocolate shavings on top Tada.

  •  Boil sugar in water and let cool.
  •  Save 1/2 cup syrup for later.
  • 1/4 cup of sugar 
  • cook until thickens
