Water is the enemy of the Lady Finger. The laciness comes out of the Lady Finger. So, dry the Lady Finger properly. Once it's dry, you have to cut it. I've washed and dried the Lady Finger. If you want to cut it, cut the top and bottom like this After that, make a slit in the middle. Make a slit and check if the Lady Finger is fresh or not. After that, cut it 1 by 2 from the middle. Add 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan. Add oil and when the oil is hot, add 1 inch of ginger slices,2 slit green chillies and the Lady Finger that we had cut earlier. On a medium flame, you have to cook the Lady Finger while stirring so that it is almost 90-95% cooked. So, stir it well and cook it. The Lady Finger will also get some color on top. Once it is almost cooked, add a pinch of salt to it. Add some lemon juice and stir it. This will prevent the Lady Finger from becoming lacy.
